A confidential
connection.

To protect your request, we check the internet connection and technical browser and device information when you submit it, confirm your email address and open the acknowledgement. The connection address may be used to estimate a broad region and identify known intermediary services such as a VPN or Private Relay.

We compare these steps using a protected identifier associated with your request. An estimated location does not prove your whereabouts or identity. Shared networks, travel or a change of connection can explain differences. Such differences alone do not lead to rejection.

The connection check is separate from the personal assessment of your application. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future.
